What is IFK?

The IFK, one of the world’s largest scientific conferences on fluid power, unites scientists with industry in an international forum to exchange knowledge in the area of hydraulic and pneumatic drives and control systems.

The Institute for Fluid Power Drives and Systems (ifas) at RWTH Aachen University organizes the conference every four years.

13th International Fluid Power Conference Aachen 2022

In June 2022, the 13th International Fluid Technology Colloquium (IFK) took place as an attendance event at the Eurogress in Aachen. The motto of this year's colloquium was "Fluid Power: Digital, Reliable, Sustainable".
Held every two years, the IFK is one of the largest conferences on fluid power topics in the world. For the resumption of the colloquium in presence, more than 400 participants from industry and science came together. Of these, 22% of the participants traveled from other European and non-European countries. The three-day colloquium thus brought together participants from 21 different countries.
