WILLKOMMEN ZUR 11. IFK!
Fluid Power Networks hat viel Aufmerksamkeit auf sich gezogen und das Organisationsteam und alle Mitarbeiter des IFAS sind stolz darauf, dass Sie unserer Einladung zur 11. Internationalen Fluidtechnik-Konferenz in Aachen gefolgt sind. Herzlich willkommen in der akademischen und wahrhaft interkulturellen Stadt im Herzen Europas!
Die traditionelle IFK ist eine der weltweit größten wissenschaftlichen Konferenzen zum Thema Fluidtechnik und führt Wissenschaftler und Industrievertreter in einem internationalen Forum zum Wissensaustausch auf dem Gebiet der fluidtechnischen Antriebe und Systeme zusammen. Die erste Tagung (1. AFK, Aachener Fluidtechnisches Kolloquium) wurde 1974 von Prof. Wolfgang Backé durchgeführt. Seit 1998 veranstalten das Institut für fluidtechnische Antriebe und Steuerungen (IFAS) der RWTH Aachen und das Institut für Fluidtechnik (IFD) der TU Dresden abwechselnd alle zwei Jahre die Internationale Fluidtechnische Tagung (IFK). In diesem Jahr erwarten wir 141 wissenschaftliche Beiträge und Referenten. Es sind Teilnehmer aus 30 Ländern angemeldet. 36 Firmen stellen ihre Produkte auf einer eigenen Fläche im Eurogress aus. Ein besonderes High-Light der 11. IFK ist das 50-jährige Jubiläum der Fluidtechnikforschung an der RWTH Aachen, das am Mittwoch, 21. März, gefeiert wird. Damit einher geht ein Wechsel in der Leitung des IFAS. Prof. Katharina Schmitz wird als meine Nachfolgerin vorgestellt.
Das Programm beginnt am Montagmorgen mit einem Symposium, bei dem Forscherinnen und Forscher vor allem aus Universitäten und anderen Forschungseinrichtungen, aber auch aus Unternehmen die Möglichkeit haben, ihre Forschungsprojekte einer breiten internationalen Gemeinschaft von Wissenschaftlern vorzustellen. Am Abend des ersten Tages sind alle Teilnehmer zur Eröffnungsveranstaltung eingeladen, die den Beginn der Ausstellung markiert.
Der zweite Tag beginnt mit der Eröffnungsrede von Herrn Christian Kienzle vom VDMA, gefolgt von zwei Plenarvorträgen zu aktuellen loT-Themen aus dem Bereich der Fluidtechnik. Am Dienstag gibt es sechs Vortragsgruppen in zwei parallelen Sessions, die ein breites Spektrum an anwendungs- und technologieorientierten Themen in Zeiten der Digitalisierung abdecken. Das Bankett findet im Krönungssaal des Aachener Rathauses statt und wird von einer After-Show in der Aula Carolina gefolgt. Am Mittwoch wird das Programm in drei parallelen Sessions fortgesetzt. Der Rektor der RWTH, Prof. Schmachtenberg, wird in der abschließenden Plenarsitzung sprechen, die Übergabe der IFAS-Leitung vornehmen und die Jubiläumsveranstaltungen einleiten.
Ein traditionelles Kulturprogramm in der Aachener Umgebung sowie eine Exkursion im Anschluss an die Tagung am Donnerstag und Freitag werden angeboten.
Abschließend möchten wir uns bei allen Mitgliedern des Programm- und Organisationskomitees, des wissenschaftlichen Beirats, den Plenar- und Keynote-Speakern, den Referenten, Gutachtern, Vorsitzenden und Ausstellern für ihre Zeit und ihr Engagement bedanken, die dazu beigetragen haben, eine weitere erfolgreiche Tagung durchzuführen und hoffen, dass Sie die 11. IFK in Aachen genießen.
